(NOTE: This game demo was solo developed in 2 weeks for DinoJam4 Game Jam)

Primal Genesis:
In a remote research facility, cutting-edge genetic engineering has brought dinosaurs back from extinction. For years, the facility’s electric fences have kept these creatures contained—until now. A massive storm strikes, plunging the facility into darkness and disabling the security systems. Without the electric barriers, the raptors—agile and lethal—begin escaping their enclosures, quickly turning the facility into a deadly hunting ground.

Armed with only a tranquillizer gun - you play as a rookie employee, just one month into the job and already scarred by a recent, eerily similar disaster. With chaos unfolding once again, you're thrown into the deep end. The mission is clear: enter the raptor enclosures, brave the darkness, and re-enable the security fences before these predators overrun the facility. But with every shadow hiding danger and time slipping away, survival becomes a desperate race against the inevitable.

Controls: Controls Can Be Remapped In Menu Settings - Keyboard & Gamepad Supported


Objectives:
- Reset The Fuse Box
- Power On The 3 Back Up Generators
- Restore Security Systems on PC
- Return To Starting Area

(Many objects in game are intractable. Make sure to investigate / walk up to different items to see if they can be interacted with. The objective items in particular need to be interacted with in order to finish the game)

- Tranquillizer Gun A (Shoots Small Tranquillizer Darts)
- Tranquilizer Gun B (Shoots Large Tranquillizer Darts)

Ammunition / Sedatives:
- Small Darts (Used With Tranquillizer Gun A)
- Large Darts (Used With Tranquillizer Gun B)
- Medicated Raptor Food (Can Be Used To Temporarily Put Raptors To Sleep)

Crafting Supplies:
- Pack Of Small Dart Canisters (Combine With Sedative Solution To Create Small Darts)
- Pack Of Large Dart Canisters (Combine With Sedative Solution To Create Large Darts)
- Sedative Solution (Combine With Dart Canisters To Create Tranquillizer Darts)

Herbs:
- Green Herb (Restores Small Amount Of Health
- Red Herb (Restores Medium Amount Of Health)
- Mixed Herb (Fully Restores Health)
(Herb Combinations:)
- Green + Green = Mixed
- Green + Red = Mixed
- Red + Red = Mixed

Letters:
Letters provide the player with information related to their surroundings and while they aren’t necessary to beat the game they can help familiarize yourself with the environment and game items.

Keys:
Many doors are locked. You will need to find keys in order to progress. Make sure to investigate your surroundings.

Storage:
- Player Global Storage (Carries Same Items Across All Instances)
- Lockers (Carries Loot That The Player Can Take If They Wish)

Emergency Supply Boxes:
- Red Supply Box: (Carries Ammunition Related Items)
- Green Supply Box: (Carries Health Related Items)
(Supply Boxes Are Locked And Need A Plug Of The Corresponding Color To Be Opened)

Plugs:
- Red Plug: Used To Open A Red Supply Box
- Green Plug: Used To Open A Green Supply Box

Enemies:
- Raptors: You can’t kill them - you can only put them to sleep temporarily - don’t hang around too long after they’ve been put to sleep as they’ll wake up and continue attacking you. They can also be put to sleep by dropping medicated food near their vicinity. However Raptors are very territorial and if they see you they will ignore the food and come for you!
- T-Rex: ????? - Play The Game ;)

Instillation:
Can not be run in browser - Download for windows only.
You may get an "Unknown Publisher" Windows Defender notification when trying to run the game - That's just because I haven't purchased a publishers certificate for the game (costs several hundred dollars every year) Rest assured though everything is 100% safe. I have my personal identity tied to this project and if you have any issues you can reach out to me personally through email or one of my social media accounts listed below.
To run the file select "More Info" then "Run Anyways"
(You'll also need a modern computer to run this game. Anything too outdated and it may not be able to keep up)
